Gerard Panggat Concepcion holds a PhD in Filipino degree from University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman, where he is also Assistant Professor at the Department of Filipino and Philippine Literature, College of Arts and Letters. His research interests are language policy and planning, sociolinguistics, and game studies.

John Christian Alvarez-Trigo is a BA Psychology student at UP Cebu. He is interested in the field of arts, debating, events management, and neuroscience. He is affiliated with UP Otakufest, UP Nichibunken, AIESEC in Cebu, UP Cebu Lantugi Debate Society, and Tug-ani, the official student publication of UP Cebu.

Armand Jake Dayoha obtained his BA in Psychology at UP Cebu. Since his graduation last 2015, he has worked as a field researcher in several research projects including UP MDF. He is interested in conducting research which are socially relevant.

Maryglie Angelie H. Delicano is a BA Psychology student at UP Cebu. Since her course description involves drowning herself in research projects related to psychology, she keeps herself afloat by delving into one seemingly untapped by its waves – literature. Thus, her involvement in UP MDF.

Mary Jees Abao

Mary Jees Abao is a teacher at San Roque Central Elementary School. She is currently pursuing her Master of Education in Language Teaching at the University of Southeastern Philippines, Davao City. Her research interests focus on children’s reading problem and remediation. She is also a member of Quota International of Davao, a non-profit organization serving the less fortunate children in the community.

Jessica C. Alag

Jessica C. Alag has more than nine years of teaching experience in tertiary and primary levels. She obtained her BS in Guidance and Counseling at San Pedro College, Davao City; and Master of Educational Management and a number of Ed.D. units at the University of Visayas. She is a part-time instructor at Assumption College of Davao.

Aimee D. Chua is Teacher III at the Araling Panlipunan Department, Davao City National High School. Presently, she is designated Deputy to the Department for Co-Curricular Affairs. She is interested in conducting action research aimped at improving learners’ academic achievement.

Renante A. Daguplo

Renante A. Daguplo obtained his BSE English at Capitol University as a Commission on Higher Education (CHED) scholar; Graduate Diploma in Cultural Education as a National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) scholar; and currently finishing his MA in Teaching English Language and Literature at Ateneo de Davao University. Currently, he is a full-time teacher and the president of the National Association of Cultural Educators and Scholars (NACES) – Mindanao. He loves traveling and photography.

Mary Grace A. Fernandez is Master Teacher in one of the public schools in Davao City. She obtained her MA in Theology major in Religious Education as Academic Scholar of the Holy Cross of Davao College. She is currently finishing her PhD in Systematic Theology at the same school. She was a faculty member of the Ateneo de Davao University Grade School Department and Guidance Advocate at Central School of San Roque District Davao City.

Ofelia U. Lagura is Science and Health Teacher I at Jose P. Laurel, Sr. Elementary School, where she also serves as Coordinator of English and Reading, and Culture and Arts. She is interested in the social and economic problems in the Philippine society.
